Entuitive Hosts First Calgary CityVision Industry Event

Invited guests from Calgary’s architecture, engineering and construction community gathered together on October 9th filling a downtown wine bistro for Entuitive’s inaugural Calgary CityVision Industry Event. Special guest speaker, Michael Brown – President & CEO of Calgary Municipal Land Corporation, delivered an informative and passionate talk conveying his insight and vision for Calgary’s ongoing urban redevelopment.

Accompany Calgary’s impressive economic growth has been heightened interest in the downtown core from a commercial, cultural and residential perspective. The CMLC is leading the charge with the transformation of the East Village into an emerging cultural and residential hotspot through a range of new developments including Riverwalk, St. Patrick’s Island and the stunning New Central Library. Michael spoke about the vision of the East Village’s Master Plan, the great success they have had to date and he spoke of the strong collaboration between CMLC, the community and members of design, engineering and development communities who have come together to find creative solutions to help realize this revitalization.


“Our involvement in the New Central Library and other East Village projects continues to be a tremendous experience,” said Brock Schroeder, Managing Principal at Entuitive. “We have seen the value of early collaboration and engagement demonstrated through this process with the results clearly benefitting the project and the community. We’re excited about having brought together members of Calgary’s design and development communities to hear from Michael and have this discussion on how creativity and collaboration build better cities.”


Now in its fourth year and with over 100 employees across the country, Entuitive continues to collaborate with building owners, developers, architects, contractors and others to deliver creative solutions for a better built environment helping to build vibrant and prosperous cities.
